The strength is in our differences.

It's lovely to do Learning and Development with other people, isn't it? I sure think so. I like asking other people for their input and peeking under the hood of their designs. I always learn something and I'm often inspired for my own projects.

The question came up recently about whether working with a concise group of learning designers and developers leads to too much similarity, and my answer is, "No! Never!" We may be similar, but we don't think alike. Even with the same tools and similar expertise, how we think and work is based on factors far more important.

To explain my point of view, I've created a little analogy video to illustrate.
